Micah

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Micah’s passion for healthcare began at a young age. Inspired by her childhood dream of attending Harvard and becoming a doctor, she pursued her academic journey with determination and grit. In 2009, she attended Harvard Summer School and went on to graduate from Service High School in 2010. She then moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. However, after discovering that city life wasn’t for her, she returned to Alaska in 2011 to complete her bachelor’s degree at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.

She went on to earn her degree in Physician Assistant Studies through the MEDEX program, also at the University of Washington, and is now a dedicated healthcare professional with a deep commitment to rural and underserved communities. In 2010, she served on a medical brigade to Panama, further fueling her desire to make an impact in global health.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, Micah is especially focused on early intervention and screening to improve health outcomes for women. She is excited to begin her role as a Breast Care Coordinator, where she can continue to pursue this mission.

Outside of her career, Micah is a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart of 16 years and a proud mother of two young boys. Her family enjoys spending time at their cabins in Willow and Big Lake, snow machining, pontooning, and playing on the lakes. They also share a love for traveling, especially to Hawaii. When she’s not at work, Micah loves spending time with her family, quilting, baking, gardening, and playing hockey.
